CEOP Command (Child Exploitation and Online Protection) is part of the UK’s National Crime Agency with a remit of pursuing and convicting online child offenders. Thinkuknow is an education programme full of resources and information for young people, parents and educators and the Thinkuknow training is delivered by CEOP trained staff.
The session content will include:
• An introduction to the work of CEOP and an overview ofhow young people are using technology outlining some ofthe associated risks and the preventative measures that can be undertaken.
• Modelling the Thinkuknow education resources for all ages and train you in how to deliver the Thinkuknow presentation aimed at children between 11 – 16 years of age.
We only train cleared professionals who will directly deliver CEOP’s products and resources to children so therefore we request that delegates attending the training bring a signed, headed letter from their organisation. This letter should be from senior management at their organisation and state the delegate's role and length of employment with the organisation they are representing, the relevance of this training to their role and confirm that the organisation has undertaken necessary risk assessments to ensure that the delegate is suitable to work with children and young people.
In order to recover our costs there is a charge of £25 per person for this training.
