Fortnite Online Game

Schools may be aware that many young people are actively engaged with a game called Fortnite (www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/buy-now/battle-royale) - a multi-player online game where children can explore maps and battle against each other. The main game costs around £35 but many young people are playing a free element called Battle Royale where players compete against each other to be the last person standing in player vs player (PVP) combat. Childnet have recently released a blog post explaining the game and some of the potential risks to young people - http://www.childnet.com/blog/a-parents-guide-to-fortnite-battle-royale. We suggest you share this with your parents.
